So at this point, if you're not aware of my love for all things food-related, I would really like you to evaluate your relationship with my blog. Especially after my recent post about Devil's Food Cake. i never intended for this to be a blog about food, but I'd like to share with you a pseudo recipe I made a couple of nights ago with great success:
Image from Nancy's Blue Plate
Salmon Croquettes
1 broccoli floret
5 baby spinach leaves
1 can salmon
a pinch of salt
a dash of pepper
a dash of garlic powder
1/4 cup bread crumbs
sesame oil
1. Dice the broccoli and spinach as finely as possible. Heat some sesame oil in a pan over medium heat. Sautee broccoli and spinach until broccoli is tender.
2. In a bowl, combine broccoli, spinach, salmon, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Roll mixture into golf-ball sized balls and coat with bread crumbs. Add about 3 tablespoons of sesame oil to the pan and add coated balls. Flatten slightly and cook until golden brown on both sides, flipping occasionally.
They taste really good dipped in Italian salad dressing. I think they'd make a great appetizer for your next party!
